Located in Shepparton, you will play an active role promoting a culture of infrastructure PPP best practice throughout the organisation.A unique skillset means you are as adept at leading small teams and influencing stakeholders as you are at utilising your technical and PPP experience.

Risk management, legislation, governance and procurement regulations are not new to you and will allow your success in the role.

About your new role…

An exciting role where you will manage the ongoing development of GVWs 20-year Capital Works Portfolio including having input into GVW’s Annual Corporate Plan and 5 year pricing submission.

You will work within a friendly and supported team, where your professional strengths will complement their rich skills and experience to support the delivery of key strategic programs and projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an organisation with an operational footprint that provides water and wastewater services to more than 50,000 households and more than 130,000 people in our region.

You will be joining a caring and supportive team who are based at the Shepparton Administration Centre in the Fryers Street CBD precinct. You will be afforded the ability to work flexibly, in line with GVW’s flexible working policy.   

About you…

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or equivalent are complemented with demonstrated experience crafted from similar roles delivering a range of water related assets and developing project-based systems.

To be considered for this role you must have demonstrated some of the following:

  • Comprehensive understanding and demonstrated application of PPP management principles.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering a range of water related assets utilising project and contract management principles/systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
  • Proficiency in software systems including experience in Smartsheets and MS Project
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including written and presentation skills.
  • Highly capable in liaising with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Commitment to safety, quality and environmental sustainability in all aspects of project work
  • Committed to contributing positively to your team and the organisation.
