WIOA has established a group of interested Members who can assist with advising and assisting WIOA to improve our Diversity & Inclusion culture, to help embrace diversity, celebrate differences and encourage participation to best meet our corporate goals and meet our organisational objectives.
We embrace diversity and inclusion and consider it is integral to our culture, our values and the way we do business.
All WIOA members should be able to feel respected and supported and can access and enjoy the same rewards, resources and opportunities regardless of gender, age, cultural norms, values, beliefs, and linked expectations.

Keep an eye out for the WOW Breakfasts
Have you ever sat in a meeting or workshop and been the only female in the room? Wondering how you got there, where are all the other ladies in the Water Industry and if they too feel the same way? Attending the WoW Breakfast in Bundaberg was empowering, showing me that there are plenty of WoW’s and we all experience that same feeling. There is a network of WoW’s all there ready to support one another, enabling each other to continue the outstanding work we do and bring a little diversity to the Water Industry.
