East Gippsland Water is offering a valuable opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time Operations & Maintenance Trainee. Based in the picturesque Mallacoota, this role provides a competitive fortnightly wage and the chance to work towards a nationally recognised qualification.

During the 24-month traineeship, you’ll work towards a Certificate III in Water Industry Operations, gaining hands-on experience, working alongside experienced and enthusiastic colleagues that will assist in paving the way for a successful career in the water industry. Contribute to meaningful work in your community while developing essential skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Mallacoota Depot Team with maintenance programs
  • Help maintain water and wastewater assets
  • Operate equipment and machinery for asset maintenance
  • Use electronic tablets/computers for work tasks
