The Australian Stockholm Junior Water Prize is an annual water science competition which showcases the unlimited potential of today’s high school students as they create solutions for current and future water challenges.

The Prize is awarded at Ozwater’18 in May 2018.

The competition challenges young people to think big and take a fresh look at water problems at local and global levels. The project encourages students to delve into all areas of water and aims to improve the quality of life through:

  • Improving water quality
  • Managing water resources
  • Water protection
  • Water sanitation
  • Water and wastewater treatment

The project must use scientifically accepted methodologies for experimentation, monitoring and reporting results.
