The Water Industry Operators Association of Australia (WIOA) is a national non-for-profit association with a primary role of facilitating the collection, development and exchange of quality information between people undertaking operational roles in the water, wastewater and recycled water industries.

Who has the Best tasting tap Water in Victoria?

The Ixom Victorian Water Taste Test is a fun and exciting way to raise awareness of the quality of Victoria's drinking water and to recognise the efforts of local water service providers in delivering valuable, safe water services to their communities. The 2016 award for the Best Tasting Water in Victoria will be conducted at the the WIOA Conference. Entries need to be at the venue by 4pm on Tuesday 30 August.

Help the water industry get counted in the 2016 Census

The water industry is significantly under counted due to the lack of water specific occupations recognised by the ABS. 

We encourage all operational staff in the water industry to use of the 28 occupational titles listed in the Water Industry Occupational Framework. More information...

Victorian Network Operators Development Program Launched
