The Water Industry Operators Association of Australia (WIOA) is a national non-for-profit association with a primary role of facilitating the collection, development and exchange of quality information between people undertaking operational roles in the water, wastewater and recycled water industries.

Victorian Operators - Opportunities to be recognised

Consider nominating operational employees who have excelled in the workplace for these prestigious awards, winners will be announced at the WIOA Conference to be held in Bendigo. Nominations close on Friday 5 August 2016.

Help the water industry get counted in the 2016 Census

The ABS will conduct the Census on 9 August 2016.  The water industry is significantly under counted due to the lack of water specific occupations recognised by the ABS.  We encourage all operational staff in the water industry to use of the 28 occupational titles listed in the Water Industry Occupational Framework.
