The role

The Dispatch Coordinator actively coordinates, schedules and reports on the activities of the Field Services workgroup, ensuring their delivery of effective and efficient outcomes for Gippsland Water’s reticulation customers, contractors and stakeholders within Essential Services Commission guidelines, industry standards and Gippsland Water policies and procedures.

What you’ll bring

  • A calm and measured approach in the prioritisation of reactive activities to achieve successful outcomes with minimal or no impact to our customers;
  • Experience in Asset Management Information Systems to enable scheduling and data collection with an emphasis on regulatory reporting;
  • Leadership capabilities & ability to motivate a team to achieve high quality outcomes;
  • Technical skills and knowledge or the ability to understand in detail, water distribution and waste water collection systems including maintenance techniques;
  • Experience and commitment to add value to, and communication of corporate policies, procedures, and processes; and
  • A commitment to, and enthusiasm for, customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
