Biography
Wagga Wagga City Council’s sewerage network services 26,886 residential and 1,745 non-residential assessments.
The sewerage network consists of 608 km of gravity (reticulation) and 111 km of pressure (rising) mains; 48 (including 2 temporary) sewage pump stations and eight (8) sewage treatment plants (including one (1) industrial pre-treatment plant)
After Treatment:
5213 ML was beneficially discharged to Marshall’s Creek (1406 ML) and the Murrumbidgee River/Marrambidya Wetlands (3807 ML); 98 ML was beneficially recycled to Parks and Ovals; 20 ML was applied to Sewage Treatment Plant grounds; 261 ML was disposed of through evaporation; and 127 ML was available for pasture irrigation.
