Celebrating Excellence in Water Industry Operations

We’re passionate about promoting excellence across the water industry. We offer a wide range of opportunities to celebrate individual and team achievements, from contributions to the association (such as Life Membership and IDIOTS) to prestigious national honours, state-level recognition and event-based awards to highlight outstanding papers and posters. We also bring some fun and friendly competition with the Best Tasting Tap Water contests at state and national levels, and our exciting main tapping competitions.

National Awards

We have a number of objectives designed to help us improve the operational performance, efficiency and competency of our members and the water industry in general as well as provide due recognition where it is deserved. The sharing of information and the development and communication of ‘best practice’ methodologies is also very important.

Team of the Year Award

This award celebrates teams within the water industry that have made an exceptional impact on their workplace or community. It recognises dedication, initiative, and teamwork that goes above and beyond normal duties.

The sharing of information and the development and communication of “best practice’ methodologies is integral to meeting our objectives.

For many years we have organised conferences and other events to facilitate the exchange of information between operational practitioners and the various industry supply companies. Attending our events, but more importantly, contributing to the information exchange by presenting a paper or poster is a great personal development opportunity for all who participate.
