NSW Interest Day

  • March 20, 2025

Our first NSW Interest Day of 2025 was held on Thursday, 20th of March. Nearly 40 attendees joined us at the Quipolly Water Treatment Plant, where the hard work from Rod and his team from Liverpool Plains Shire Council came into fruition after clearing out their tools shed to create an informative and welcoming space for our members.

Members received a detailed presentation from Liverpool Plains Shire Council about the construction, planning and existing processes of their Quipolly Water Treatment Plant. This was followed by Walcha Council’s presentation on their new 300ML off Creek Dam Construction, as well as insight into their challenges and solutions.

The day finished with an onsite tour of Quipolly WTP followed by lunch and barefoot bowls at Quirindi Bowling Club (although some opted in for socks or thongs on the hot manicured greens).

Thank you to our National Interest Day Partner ProMinent Australia, NSW Sponsors Hunter H2O and SAFEgroup Automation (SGA), along with our Host Liverpool Plains Shire Council, for making this event possible.
