WIOA invites members to join us for a People & Culture webinar on Women in Water
We have put together a line-up of speakers who will share their own authentic thoughts and experiences working in the water industry. The webinar will also provide a focus on the programs and initiatives that have encouraged women to choose and stay in the water industry, on their career journey. During the webinar there will be an opportunity to provide comments and feedback, via polling and online chat, on what members think WIOA can do to encourage women to consider the water industry as a career choice.
WIOA Talks Program:
- Winners are Grinners! Insights from the 2017 Victorian Young Operator of the Year (Mae Jobson, Gippsland Water)
- Get amongst it! – Making the most of professional development opportunities and networks (Kristen Sih, Melbourne Water)
- Seeing the bigger picture – Programs and initiatives to attract and retain women in water (Robyn Clark, Women Into Leadership, International Women’s Development Agency).
Registration is available to the first 100 members to register and attendees will be contacted with the login instructions, in the lead-up to the event.
The webinar will use the Adobe Connect platform and may require an installation process.
