Sewer Treatment Plant Operator

This opportunity is for Sewer Treatment Plant Operator to join the water and sewer team in Condobolin. This role’s primary function is to operate and maintain the sewer treatment plant, pumping stations and reticulation system. This position is Full-time.

To be successful you will need a Waste Water Treatment Operator Certificate Part 1 & 2, or Certificate III in Wastewater Industry Operations or equivalent. A class ‘C’ drivers licence and previous work related experience.  You will also need to be able to communicate well and work effectively in a team environment.

Benefits for you:

• The salary range is $2,310 to $2,594  per fortnight
• Starting salary to be determined upon the qualifications and experience of successful applicant.
• The Grade applicable to the position is Grade 7 – 8 within Council’s Salary Structure
• 76 working hours per fortnight with a rostered day off (9 Day fortnight)
• 3 weeks sick leave

• Employer Superannuation of 11.5%
• Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award
