The Executive Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Managing Director and Executive management team.
This position is a part time, 12-month opportunity working 2 days per week. The hours of work are 8:15am to 5pm with Monday required and the second day negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the Office of the Managing Director with integrity and accountability.
- Coordinate the Managing Director’s diary ensuring the Managing Director is in the right place at the right time, with the right information.
- Act as a liaison between the Managing Director, Executive team and staff, and support the flow of information.
- Assist with a weekly staff journal and Board update.
- Minute taking for the Executive and Senior Leadership Team meetings.
- Assist with the development of routine documents, correspondence, and event information.
- Assist with the provision of reports and information to the Board.
- Organise staff and Board related events.

Key Selection Criteria
- Well-developed computer skills encompassing the Microsoft Office suite, calendar-based applications and willingness to learn our range of systems.
- Ability to manage competing demands and requests, set priorities and plan and organise work to achieve specific and set objectives in the most efficient way possible.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate North East Water’s mindsets of accountability, commitment, consistency, empathy and cooperation.
- Experience in preparation of agendas and minute taking is desirable.
- Experience in a similar role providing high level support and/or administrative assistance, including diary management and scheduling.

Position Information
- An attractive salary range of $78,527 to $88,313 (pro-rata part time) plus 11.5% superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
- This position is part time, 12-month opportunity working 2 days per week. The hours of work are 8:15am to 5pm with Monday required and the second day negotiable.
