The Opportunity: We have an exciting full-time position for a Plumber to join our team. Reporting to the Network Supervisor, Peter Fentiman, you’ll be responsible for providing and maintaining plumbing and water and waste reticulation services across Isaac Regional Council.
What We Offer:
- Great Pay: $73,119.47 per year, plus allowances…
Extra Cash: On offer as a standard
Market Loading Allowance: $11,000.00 per year
Tool Allowance: $3,380.00 per year
Locality Allowance: up to $1479.40 per year
Construction Worker allowance: (paid on all relevant hours)
- Overtime & Oncall: Opportunities to participate in on call and overtime ($$$)
- Affordable Housing: Subsidised Council housing at just $80.00 per week
- Work Vehicle: Tool of trade use vehicle
- Work-Life Balance: 38 hours per week
- Generous Leave Benefits: 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading & RDO’s as per Council Policy

What You Need:
- Australian Working Rights
- Current C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence
- Confined Space Entry certificate or ability to obtain
- Blue/White card and General Safety Induction card for the Construction industry
- Ability to pass a pre-employment functional assessment and/or behavioural testing
- Trade qualifications in plumbing with experience in plumbing operations
- Knowledge of water and waste principles and practices
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork
