Engineer – Treatment Operations
Full Time, Permanent Position
$102,258.23 – $108,161.18 + 4 % increase July 2026 + 12% superannuation
The Opportunity
Council has an opportunity for a motivated Engineer Treatment Operations to join our team, to provide technical expertise, and to support the efficient delivery of services with respect to water and wastewater treatment operations and engineering matters.
About Us
Banana Shire is situated in Central Queensland, Australia, located 120 km west of the growing industrial city and port of Gladstone – and an easy drive to the city of Rockhampton.
Our population is approximately 15,000 people spread over 28,577 square kilometres. Major industries in the area include coal mining, power generation, beef production, dryland cropping and irrigation such as lucerne and cotton.
About You
Ideally, our successful candidate will have:
Qualifications or proven extensive experience in Engineering or other relevant discipline.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally with individuals at all levels.
Queensland C Class Driver’s License (minimum requirement – Provisional License).
General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
