  • This award recognises an exceptional individual in Australia’s water industry who demonstrates outstanding commitment to developing operators, building capability and confidence, and fostering a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement across networks and treatment operations.
  • The winner receives $4,000 personal development opportunity (decided by the winner and their employer).

Diversity & Inclusion (KWATYE) Award

  • The opportunity to present the award at the NSW conference annually, and say a few words. In return WIOA will recognise the sponsor as a Major Sponsor of the WIOA events. 
  • This award demonstrates an initiative involving cultural and/or diversity, with inclusion-based activities of a project and/or community that they serve.
  • Winner will receive $2,000 Charity Donation of their choice.

Team of the Year Award

  • The award recognises teams of employees working in any part of the water industry that have made an outstanding contribution to their workplace or community. 
  • The winner of the Team of the Year Award will receive copies of the WIOA Practical Guide series for the use of the business, to the value of $2,000. The runner up will receive copies to the value of $1,000.

  • This new initiative for WIOA and Operators from across Australia in 2025.
