WIOA invites members to join us for a Technical Session – Health Based Targets Made Easy
Most water treatment operators would have heard of the concept of microbial Health-Based Targets (HBTs). They have been adopted in the Australian Guidelines for Water Recycling, as well as the United States Environmental Protection Agency, World Health Organization and Health Canada guidelines for drinking water. HBTs are also expected to be included in the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG) sometime during 2018. Join us for a practical and informative webinar of what microbial HBTs are, why they are being introduced into the ADWG, and what their introduction means for the day-to-day activities of operators.
WIOA Talks Program:
- The ABCs of HBTs – David Sheehan (Coliban Water)
- Assessing catchment risk and sanitary surveys – Cameron Veal, SEQWater
- Practical implementation of log reduction targets at water treatment plants – Phil Fasham, Coliban Water
Registration is available to the first 100 members to register and attendees will be contacted with the login instructions, in the lead-up to the event.
The webinar will use the Adobe Connect platform and may require an installation process.
