Robertson Technology manufactures instrumentation and provides services for pump, blower, and turbine performance and condition monitoring, and flow rate measurements. Instrumentation is manufactured at our main premises in Wangara, Western Australia, and the equipment and associated services have been provided to 23 countries on 6 continents. We have sales representatives in many countries, and an office in the UK.

Our key expertise is accurate long-term differential temperature measurement, to better than 0.001°C. This has been applied to performance monitoring by the thermodynamic method, and to pipeline flow rate measurements, using a thermal flow meter.

Currently our flagship product is our MicroPM continuous pump performance and condition monitor, which at pump level provides key performance parameters such as efficiency, head, flow rate, and power, and operating point, with the option of integrated bearing vibration and temperature sensors. At pump station level, the Micro Station Monitor provides pump scheduling information, and advises the optimum pump combination (and speed, for variable speed pumps) to obtain a demand flow rate at lowest cost.

In Australia, our Water Industry clients include the Water Corporation of Western Australia, Busselton Water, Sun Water, South Australia Water, Melbourne Water, Perth Seawater Desalination Plant, and Wannon Water.
