Water Treatment Technician Permanent full time position
Gippsland Water currently has an opportunity for a Water Treatment Technician to join the Water Treatment, Quality and Catchments workgroup.
As a Water Treatment Technician you will be responsible for the day to day operation of Gippsland Water’s water treatment facilities. You will work as part of a flexible, multi skilled team and undertake operation, maintenance and improvement works to ensure the delivery of safe drinking water to our customers.
To be successful in this role you will have;
• Certificate II or III in Water Industry Treatment (NWP30315) or be willing to obtain
• Experience in the operation and maintenance of water treatment facilities
• Knowledge of relevant drinking water regulations and Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) Risk Management processes
