Are you passionate about asset management and data integrity? We’re seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team and play a key role in capturing and maintaining accurate asset information to support financial management, operations, maintenance, risk assessment, and investment planning.
In this dynamic role, you’ll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analysing data from multiple sources and ensuring timely, reliable asset information is available for informed decision-making. You’ll also help optimise asset management systems and practices, driving efficiency and supporting the division’s strategic goals.
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering and eligibility for membership for the Institution of Engineers Australia.
* Advanced asset management skills in infrastructure asset types including asset renewal and maintenance strategies, concepts, theories, techniques and principles.
* Extensive knowledge and experience in performing analysis in various information technology systems including Microsoft Office suite, GIS and Business Management Systems.
* Experience in performing asset maintenance and renewal improvement programs.
* Experience in ISO55000 and scheduled audits to conform to Asset Compliance.
* Current “C” class driver’s licence.
* Extensive knowledge and understanding of Council policy, procedures and practices, relevant legislation, codes and guidelines relating to the QLD Local Government Act and appropriate asset management standards as well as industry codes of practice and other associated legislation and codes relevant to the position (preferred).
