Kempsey Shire Council is located on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, half way between Sydney and Brisbane, and is known for genuine hospitality, its pristine beaches, sub-tropical rainforests, mountain ranges, rocky river gorges, sprawling farmland and peaceful villages.
Reporting to the Coordinator Water and Sewer Operations, the Technical Officer is responsible for providing technical and project management support, and advice to the Water and Sewer Process team.
To be successful in this role, you should possess tertiary qualifications relevant to the role; recent experience and knowledge of all aspects of the water and sewer industry including maintenance programs; and experience in water and wastewater project management and coordination. You should also hold a WorkCover Construction Induction Card, Confined Space Entry, and Working at Heights Training.
