The Technical Officer will have responsibility for constructing, operating, maintaining and upgrading Council’s SCADA and telemetry system and deliver minor capital works and special projects.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • previous experience and sound knowledge of SCADA or other control systems within a utility industry, preferably within the water and wastewater sector
  • high level skills in database management with an ability to analyse and interpret data, establish trends and prepare reports
  • excellent research skills
  • Trade qualification to operate as a registered Licenced Electrician in Queensland

Status: Permanent Full-time

Pay Level: $65,184 – $80,266 (Level 3-5) In accordance with Council’s Enterprise Agreement and the relevant Award.

Hours of Work: 72.5 hours a fortnight, 9 day fortnight or as negotiated
