About the role
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to excel in the role of Project Engineer – Assets. Based in our Bairnsdale head office, this ongoing position will form a key role in assisting with the completion of our water and sewerage master planning projects, and growth planning to inform long-term future infrastructure strategies.
As part of the Strategy & Assets team, the successful candidate will be responsible for completing technical studies, assisting with planning and investigation projects, and other projects as required. This role would suit an engineer with applicable skills and experience, however applications from recent graduates, or those nearing completion of their studies would be welcomed.
What can you bring to the role?
We are looking for someone with knowledge of the engineering principles of water supply and wastewater systems, treatment processes, and reticulation networks, and who has good interpersonal skills to achieve effective outcomes for the business.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of water industry assets, asset management and other business systems, and experience or knowledge in providing technical support, data analysis and a team-based approach to investigating and addressing infrastructure issues.
