Closing date: 28/07/2021 11:15 PM AUS Eastern Standard Time
Employment type: Full-Time
The Mid-Western Region is located in the Central Tablelands of NSW, just over 3 hours from Sydney. With it being one of regional NSW’s fastest-growing areas, Mudgee provides many reasons to relocate with great lifestyle benefits and the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The region’s community is welcoming and friendly, which is why the region has become a popular location for tree changers who have had enough of traffic jams, congestion and long work hours.
As the Mid-Western Region continues to grow and prosper at a steady rate, Council currently employs over 400 people and now has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Electrician to ensure the safe installation, maintenance and operation of electrical systems under the control of Mid-Western Regional Council. The position is part of the Water and Sewer Team and can expect to work on a range of industrial electrical installations that are critical to the supply of safe drinking water and management of sewerage services.
This position would suit a candidate with industrial electrical experience, who is self-motivated to work both independently and as part of a team.
To be successful in this role you will hold Electrical Trade qualifications, experience in the maintenance of complex switchboards and control apparatus and the ability to design, construct and install upgrades to industrial electrical equipment utilised in the water industry.
If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks, whilst building a rapport with a diverse range of people, then this may be your perfect role!
We off a salary range of $2621-$2951 gross per fortnight (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience) plus superannuation, a 9 day fortnight and long service leave after 5 years.
