What you need to know…

  • temporary full time – 76 hours per fortnight
  • salary – $1,038.20 – $2,030.80 per fortnight, plus superannuation
  • location – South Grafton
  • full payment of course fees

About the role
Are you interested in become an Electrician? Council’s Water Cycle section is offering an Electrical Apprenticeship which will be based at Council’s Rushforth Road Works Depot in South Grafton. We are seeking motivated applicants that are electrically minded, have a strong eye for detail and enjoy problem solving. You must have a strong commitment to safety, have a passion for Engineering and have the drive to commit to a 4 year Apprenticeship. In your Apprenticeship you will work on a range of water, sewer and floodplain electrical assets that, when you are qualified, will equip you with the skills needed for working in various industries.
A Drivers Licence is not essential but you must have reliable transport as you will be required to travel to attend the Tafe Campus in Grafton.

Other important information
This position is located at Council’s Rushforth Road Works Depot, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
A probationary period applies to this position.
